Anyways, yeah AOA and 2NE1 are great for music, really easy to get into. KARA were super consistent since they worked with Sweetune during their golden era (basically go listen to all the singles between Mister and Damaged Lady). T-ARA actually took a long time to grow on me, it took about a year for me to finally hear Roly Poly in a pleasurable light, I thought it was trash before that.
Honestly though, go investigate After School at least. They were outstanding, regardless of what the haters in this thread say, and their Japanese albums were really amazing. But yeah, Diva, Because of You, Bang!, Shampoo, Flashback, and First Love are all worth hearing. Diva had great performances, the choreography was so energetic (excuse the styling, it was 2009 ). Because of You had a mildly homosexual video between Uee and Jooyeon (the album version has less autotune screeches in the verses, I promise) and is a fantastic song, super catchy. Bang! was... something else - I don't know how to describe it, but it was great and the instrumental feels historic. And then there's Flashback which... slaughters.
I didn't mean to make this an essay but I think you would really like After School - they're a performance group and they did some amazing things. They're at 3.2k plays on my last.fm, which is only 200 plays behind SNSD. Taking into account SNSD's 10(?) singles - most of which are classics - and the fact that I only "use" 24 After School songs, they really are outstanding and have huge replay factor.
