I still remember how dissappointed and hungry for success she was in 2011. She herself said her career was a failure and she was mad because she couldn't compete in the world of Lady Gaga. That's why Electra Heart came (which we love and she now hates ).

That's why I love Marina. She changes her mind every single step at a time. Just like me.

I think she's just grown a lot (as we all do I guess, down to earth queen).

Like, she obviously wanted fame and stardom at first but I think the taste she got with EH made her realize it wasn't for her.

I do think she still loves EH the album (think she said that in a FAQin Hell?), I think it was just how the era went that kind of tarnished it for her.

You can tell she likes FROOT the best. Writing along seems to be really therapeutic for her so I don't mind if she continues down that root.

So Marina has been on my radar for a LONG time (looking at my faves in the sig she belongs in that group)
And I FINALLY got into her music
I started with Electra Heart. Oh my god! What an amazing album! Too bad I missed it in 2012 when Born To Die came as well. Not a big fan of Primadonna or How to be a heartbreaker, but the other songs are breathtaking. It's so hard to pick favorites, but they probably would be LIES, Starring role, homewrecker, valley of the dolls, Sex Yeah
Sex Yeah and Lies are one of the best songs I've ever heard

Froot is blatantly her best album. I'm obsessed with "Gold", it's underrated. It flopped so hard in the discography rate which had me shook.

Gold is one of the best songs on the album. It disgusts me how underrated it is!

I LOVE this song. It's like the perfect vibe for the warm seasons.

Gold is amazing. I love how tropical it sounds. Like inside an aquarium. I will certainly be listening to it when I'm laying on a beach this summer.

I think I didn't really get or try to get into her music because of how poppy her singles are. I decided to listen to Primadonna, and.... this is not like the music I used to like. Her album tracks are divine however. But Blue and I'm a ruin are having me weak right now

And Ellie Goulding inspired me to listen to Marina. I used to dismiss her too, but Delirium is brilliant! So I thought maybe I should try out Marina's music (who is a "similar artist")

FROOT is her best album. I just can't get into Happy or Gold. I didn't like Weeds because I was listening to it when I got into a car accident, but now I love it. Her whole discography is like gems littered with some dirt, which is a nice change of pace from so many discographies that are dirt with some gems.

Savages is her best song.
