You guys are really upset over a company that removed floppy disc drives, cd drives, usb ports from their computers and now a headphone jack from their phone? don't complain bc you're too poor to have bluetooth streaming
There's that magic thing called a lightning - aux adapter that'll come with the phone.
Cause that's what I would rather, a ugly adapter sticking out of my phone and having to rely on it every-time I want to use my headphones for my iPhone. And then when one does get these lightning headphones they will have to carry an adapter to use them in literally every other device with a 3.5 jack. They even wont be able to be used in their current Mac range
You're all so messy you have no idea. Once you hear the sound quality differences you'll be popping your pusses left right and centre and thinking apple to the heavens for doing this.
95% of casual music listeners (not weird, picky audiophiles who hoard vinyl records in their basement) wouldn't tell the difference and wouldn't care.
It'll literally add like an inch to your ear/headphones.
You'd leave it attached to them and not leaving it dangling from your damn phone.
I'm not a sheep. It's a bad idea.
If the only purpose is to make the iPhone a micrometer thinner, it's not worth it. Make the phone water proof and shatter proof. I don't care about the "Thinnest phone ever" tag they're planning on using.
I won't be able to charge and listen music plus I won't be able to use it on my computer
