Anyways, Selena shouldn't be compared to Ariana. Ariana was able to get a Top 10 on the first try, not after 5 years. Ariana was able to debut #1 with an album on the first try, not after 5 years. Ariana was able to tour Arenas in less than 2 years of her career. Ariana was able to send her songs up to the top of radio within her first 5 singles. Ariana was able to become a mainstream star in the beginning of her career, not 5+ years into it.
There's a reason Selena's competitors are Demi Lovato, Zendaya, Bridgette Mendler, and all of them. Ariana is a talented star, coming off an era that was seemingly bigger than everything Selena has done in her solo career altogether.
