NO is extremely generic and easy for people to digest (the equivalent of a Katy Perry/Taylor Swift single) while Dangerous Woman is a lot more dark, innovative, and less radio friendly. It's like comparing the success of Judas to ET

Ariana also has the disadvantages of being a streaming-oriented artist, having 1/3 of the airplay Meghan has, having some people think she's some American hating diva donut terrorist and having a riskier single with less palatable melodies.

Comparing the two of them makes no sense. Ariana is doing well considering what she's up against.
