2ne1, wonder girls, and BoA were the 1st k-pop acts i got into. it was around the time 2ne1 released Fire and my friend used to try and persuade me to listen to k-pop with her and i would just pay her dust until she literally forced me to listen to it and i was like ok this kinda bops
SNSD were pretty much the first kpop group i listened to
It was kewl for a few days but then i stopped caring.
And over a year later (mid/ late 2013) Sorbet forced 2NE1 on me and i actually got into them then
My first was EXO's Call Me Baby, and it was around the time when Big Bang released Loser & Bae Bae, which I loved.
Then I discovered SHINee's View a while after, and SNSD's Oh! and CMIYC only about 2-3 months later, which was ~9 months from now.
iKON remains the only bg I just can't get into, them being bullies, releasing mediocre songs, having no style nor concept and trying (and failing) at each and every sound. Apology was alright I guess, but that's probably because it sounds like it was made for MADE.

I'm not even lying when I tell you that it basically went this way for me too and then somehow I ended up finding GOT7's Just Right [which was soooooo corny but I liked JB first] and then MrBF got me into BTS. The rest, I found on my own.
I showed my little brother Overdose and when the suit & tie dance scene first came up, he gave no reaction and I sorta dragged him and sent him out of my room... especially after the "How yuh listen to di chinese people dem music?" comment
But he loves it now tho. That and Dope

This Chloe Moretz girl omg....you'd think she's an actual fan of Korean culture or is adored there or something but if you see her interviews it's so painfully obvious it's just a PR ploy.
