If you take those and throw in other states that have gone Democrat in 3 or 4 of the last 4 elections, that's already 321 electoral votes.

Literally if we could just seal up Florida and take Texas, there would never be another Republican president.

Hopefully the conservative wing of American politics shatters this year, and splits the vote in Hillary's favor.

The Democrats need to hold strong, elect Hillary, and give her a second term before I'm comfortable with any significant fracturing on our side.

Bernie and Warren must support Hillary when it comes to it - their support is instrumental to keeping the progressive wing tied to our more moderate side.

If we stand together where our opponent does not, we cannot lose.

If not this election then next for sure. Whether Trump wins the general or not, GOP will not remain as is.

If he wins the disgusted GOP sect may break off and become a more moderate party.

If he is not picked or they feel he isn't conservative enough as a president then the far right will break away.

The same will happen to the Left, for example if more people become concerned about the environment then some Greens will join.

I expect US to turn like multiparty Parliaments where coalitions will be vital in a few decades.

The ideal situation in my mind is Green Party voters - and members - realizing the prime opportunity we have right now to consolidate against Trump and a fracturing GOP.

The more who vote for Hillary now, the more we can build the political infrastructure for electing more progressive leaders throughout the next eight years and in the 2024 election.

We could take back the House within two or three elections if we play our cards right. We could already take the Supreme Court technically speaking, take back the Senate, and keep the White House, all in 2016.

We have such an amazing opportunity right now.

I live in the middle of conservative BFE Texas, and I know several religious republicans who have told me they intend on voting for Clinton over Trump.

Keep in mind, Clinton got 935k votes in Texas, versus Trump's 757k on Super Tuesday.

It's one of the most liberal states in the union. And because it's pretty white (though I will say that this time around the nonwhite population will be about 40%). I'm not from NY so it'll be hard for me to say but if it's anything like PA (like OH was, how DE will be, and MD) then Bernie won't win it. He could possibly come close, which I also doubt, but he won't win.

Of course the numbers in that are a bit skewed, but it does remain that it's a possible situation, especially if there is a third party candidate for the GOP.

There were a total of 2,832,234 republican votes cast in the primary this year. There were 1,433,908 democratic votes cast in comparison. That's a little bit greater than half of the republican votes which is 1,416,117.

Both Clinton and Sanders should just pivot their issues to the GOP and Trump and let the remaining votes fall as they may.
