Trump is to this day still fighting with people on Twitter. I think it is a done deal.
Nnn. I think the rally will happen for whoever snatches the Democrat nomination. There is no way people will sit on the sidelines and let the republican turnout give Trump the win.
It's going to be a flush with the independents & crossover votes really.
Registered democrats that were really pro-Bernie might have a hard time with Hillary and can align themselves better to Trump's anti-establishment message and switch over to vote for him.
Registered republicans that have been a part of this #NeverTrump movement might decide that Hillary is a smarter decision for the country than Trump would be.
We've already discussed this in here as well, and I advocated for a four-or-more party system. I'm just saying that it's unrealistic to expect a third party to actually gain traction and do anything but steal votes from one side.
So basically, if she can convert a couple states and otherwise retain the Obama 2012 map, then this looks like a pretty solid electoral victory for her.
I just wish she could somehow turn Texas and their 38 electoral college votes.
Yeah, she doesn't really need to expand on the Obama map. Republicans have their work cut out for them. Texas probably isn't going to flip anytime soon. Long term though maybe. Demographics can help Democrats win Texas again in the coming decades.
