Bill and Hill have been influential members of the Democrat Party for Decades, and Bernie hasn't, so why are The Young Turks acting surprised that she is more popular within the elected Democrat Party Congressmen? It is not about bias, it is about having a long-standing position of influence within the Democratic Party. Hillary has one, Bernie doesn't.

Bernie has been campaigning and winning elections based on an Independent platform and fair enough. It should be no surprise that given their respective histories that the Democrats as a Party support Hillary. Same as the GOP hierarchy don't support Trump, because he is not really one of them. He is just Tea--Partying the GOP President ticket!

I am just curious as to whether Bernie will join Hillary's Adminstration in some role.

The Young Turks are so pathetic... Like do they not realize this? This is not a testament of political corruption either (which they would readily try to spin it into). If you support something for a long time, you tend to gain favorability. Bernie suing and speaking against the party through this campaign severed any chance he had at getting favorability with the party.

He could, but it would be difficult in many states to gather signatures for ballots because they require signatures of people that have not voted in a primary...and many of Sanders' supporters already have.

Bernie surges in the upcoming states, neither passes the threshold in pledged delegates. Hillary wins the Democratic nomination by superdelegates.

GOP gives nomination to Cruz at brokered convention. Trump decides to run Independent.

Bernie decides to run Independent as well to defeat everyone, since he knows the others aren't very favorable and wants to get the Democratics back for their corrupt methods.

Bernie ends up winning and becomes the next President
