Looks like Saturday was one of those rare times when talent
LOST. On the one hand, it will definitely be entertaining to watch those who voted for Frans being SHOOK when that vomit-inducing tragic mess of a song ain't even in the top half of the final results. (The dis/likes ratios and odds drifting agree.) Also, it will lowkey be a slap in the face and the reminder for the SVT that they can't just mess with ESC like that - karma is a lovely thing.
The one who lost the most, tho, was most certainly Oscar. Glad to see he finished 2nd, and glad to see that the juries yet again recognized the talent, even tho they could only do so much this time. The exposure he could've got after Human would undoubtedly win the ESC would help his career in so many ways, and with a song like that he definitely deserved it, which is why I wish those deaf uglys who voted for Frans eternal suffering. See you in hell.
On some new songs we got - Serbia sent a nice ballad, but that's it. It's a forgettable finale fodder, top 15 at the best. Azerbaijan will get a bit higher but it's same for them. Lithuania is cute-ish, but bland and mediocre.
Looking at the odds rn - seeing how Sweden pulled a Poland, and Russia is not winning since, well it's Russia for one, and sounds like a 2005-2013 trashy bops era reject, I think we can safely congratulate Nina Kraljić for bringing Eurovision back in Zagreb.
See you in 2017.
