1969. After Tuesday, there would be 2,082 delegates left to be won. Bernie would need 1,560 of those delegates to get the nomination, or roughly 74% of the delegates left. Hillary would need 936 delegates to get the nomination, or roughly 44% of the delegates left.

There would be almost no possible way Bernie could get 74% of the remaining vote, even if he wins everything left it wouldn't be by that margin.

Do you all know that white males aren't monolithic either? White males in the south are different from white males in the Midwest. This isn't 1968 where implicit racism is going to win. White males are continually becoming less and less of the population. I think the amount of whites that supported Mitt Romney is at or near its ceiling. If there is any gain to be made, it'll likely be offset by Democratic gains with women and minorities.

Anyway I'm glad the polls are close between Hillary and Bernie this time. I feel like had we known that Michigan was as close as it was prior to the surprise win, it wouldn't have been a big deal. I'm glad the polls aren't too far apart for Illinois and Ohio.

Ohio's going to be weird... Especially since it's a swing state... My school is literally five minutes next to Ohio and there's no clear winner based on the Ohioans that I've spoken to. Ohio is going to be really close, regardless of who wins. Meaning it's likely going to end up being an equal distribution of delegates. Which won't be good for Bernie, should he win.

Bernie is an idealist, and because of that, he has more views that I agree with than Hillary

But being an idealist is also an issue. Congress is going to tear him apart. The things he promises are things I would like, but they're likely not going to happen if he because president. See: Obama. Congress cut him off at the ankles almost every time.

Hillary, though, while not as agreeable to me as Bernie, is a lot more of a realist, and I think she could make great headway as a president. Sure, I disagree with more of her views, but I think the things she promises that I do agree with are more likely to happen than with Bernie.

So I'm definitely torn between those two.
