Last night provided a pretty clear image of what a Trump Presidency would look like. I hope the few Trump supporters in here enjoy anarchy because you'll be in for 4 years of it if you get your way.

It's interesting how the term "Freedom of Speech" is used in these discussions. Trump is allowed his freedom to hold a rally, but people aren't allowed to have freedom to express their distaste towards said rally? Neither side can be held solely responsible for the resulting mess so we can't revoke anyones freedom of speech based on it.

I think Bernie is getting the blame as he attracts people who are passionate about left-wing politics and so are more likely to be involved in stuff like this whereas Clinton will have the more moderate Democrats. Just like Trump will get the blame for any protests outside Democratic rallys.

Protest to voice concerns is what advanced this nation on countless issues, so Trump's free speech argument doesn't hold water. This goes for all sides. Bernie's supporters are unjustly getting the blame because they happen to be "vocal", or are depicted that way.

And somewhere along the middle, Hillary is already celebrating her victory speech. That I don't mind, she's my 2nd choice.

I can't believe how much of a mess this election has already become. Trump is truly a hideous figure. Encouraging and breeding hate amongst the masses and I can imagine the violence only getting worse when he becomes the GOP nominee. America is in a huge hole at the moment. I can't believe how they have regressed so far back into the past in recent years.

IMO she needed to retract the statement and apologize, which she did.

Nancy Reagan intentionally ignored the AIDS crisis after thousands died and had to be shamed into helping Rock Hudson after it mattered. Revisionist history, even if well intentioned at a funeral, needs to be called out.

I genuinely don't think there was political motivation behind the statement and it's had surprising legs after she apologized.

Nothing wrong? She's incorrect on the flag thing and relied on the assumption that black people should grieve instead of being angry. The whole Charleston part is largely unnecessary to include here. It's just pandering at this point.
