Their success was contingent on adopting the hot sound. Tbh, they probably woulda

When Kelly made my neck hot with Commander. Whew! Good thing years of being in Bey's shadow left her with low self-esteem. She was the one who could have really challenged Bey. Her tone is everything. Much more radio friendly than Bey's.
