The pop girls... well, honestly the popstars in general that debuted this decade have been lacking in all departments (music, image, overall appeal) and I don't really see any of them sticking around.... the only one that MIGHT be able to cement herself is Meghan Trainor
Well most major girls normally come every 7-10 years, so we will have to wait and see. At this rate, I doubt it. Meghan is probably on her way, but we need to see how the TY era plays out.

Yes. The new girls are so painfully boring, wtf. Ariana looks scared 24/7, hasn't done anything interesting or original since her debut. Meghan is OK, I'm just not into it. Demi and Selena... the way their fans fight about who sold 300k vs 320k WW
I think Taylor and Adele having huge eras over the last years made it harder for a new pop girl to dominate as the it girl. Meghan sorta did it when AATB overshadowed SIO but Taylor managed to re-establish dominance with Blank Space. At this point though, Meghan's the closest that we have. Ariana and Selena, while having strong eras with consistent Top 10 hits, do not in any way compare to Katy and Gaga's astonishing debuts with IKAG/HNC and JD/PF.
