I've literally just came to the conclusion I don't think there's a Red Velvet song I dislike? Expect maybe Be Natural, but I don't totally count it as theirs. And it's still not bad per se. Queens of quality.

Let's talk serious for a moment though, because I legit don't remember everyone stanning Automatic so hard. I remember people saying it was a snooze and that Be Natural was better (as if), but then again I don't remember anybody hating on The Red so that's also new (and deserved).
Anyways, I'm super glad to see so much love for Automatic, and for the record if The Velvet's title track is anything like it then it'll be a blessing.
Also - for the record - I think The Velvet will be better than The Red. Y'all can think that's an outrageous statement considering some of you legit think The Red was SM's best release of 2015, but I mean it more as an insult to The Red. The Velvet won't be outstanding since none of Red Velvet's albums have been, but it'll be better than The Red, for sure. Don't @ me.

The only Red Velvet songs I use anymore are Happiness, Ice Cream Cake, Automatic, Somethin Kinda Crazy, Take It Slow, Dumb Dumb, Huff n Puff, and Cool World.

Automatic and ICC are definitely their top 2 though, anyone that disagrees probably needs a trip to the Born Brave bus

From RV I like all of the title tracks and the ICC mini (though Stupid Cupid is middling), but besides Dumb Dumb I only really like Cool World and Oh Boy from The Red. It's not that the rest is bad it's just...bland. They go in one ear and out the other. Even Cool World is kind of like that, though it's pretty enough that I listen to it once in a while. I feel like the album was entirely put together from spare demos SM had lying around.
ICC, Automatic, Dumb Dumb, STC, and Happiness are their top 5 for me.

I don't think I've ever connected on a spiritual level with you Blueberry but it is HAPPENING.
You described my feelings toward their music so well, and "bland" is perfect. I don't dislike most of their music it's just that most of it misses the mark at being memorable, nay enjoyable.
Also loving the Stupid Cupid opinion, that song is so overrated it's baffling.

As I feel with literally every SM full length of 2015, The Red would have been better off as a mini, if you ask me. But I still like the throw-in tracks. I do feel like sonically they did hit the nail in the head and made a proper cohesive album. The Red, EXODUS and Kiss My Lips were SM's only cohesive sounding albums last year, which is why I think I like The Red so much. Out of the three of those, it's the one I enjoyed the most.
Lion Heart, Odd, 4 Walls all had great tracks in them, but as albums didn't flow for the most part. I don't know, I feel like Red Velvet were SM's jewel of 2015. All their concepts were on point and it just seemed like SM cared to put effort into what they were doing with them.

Anyway, I doubt Red Velvet's title is actually going to be like Automatic or Be Natural. Neither did well. The title will probably something more like Ice Cream Cake, just less heavily produced.
