If Bernie loses, I encourage all Bernie supporters to check out the Libertarian Party. Do NOT let the momentum die and settle for Hillary or Trump. Gary Johnson will be the best candidate in the GE and if the youth spread his name like they did Bernie, the Libertarians could EASILY take 50% of the Republicans who hate Trump and a massive amount of independents who are socially liberal and economically conservative.

The biggest counties in Florida all have pretty big universities in them with the exception of Pinellas, which is basically nothing but old people anyway. Bernie needs to get them to vote.
He showed huge gains in Michigan. Florida isn't really the typical southern state; it gets more northern as you go farther south (if that makes any sense ). Also keep in mind there's a huge Hispanic population here, more than the black population. He came close in Nevada.

Outside of Jacksonvile (Duval County) there arent that many AA in North Florida. I went to college up there, it's largely white, surfer, hipster and rich.
And the AA are more like their South counterparts than North.
After Michigan, I could see Hillary losing Ohio and possibly Pennsylvania to Bernie, while holding onto Illinois and Missouri (in terms of rustbelt blue-collar states).
It's so weird. Hillary has legit morphed into Obama 2008 and Sanders into Hillary 2008 in terms of demographics Hillary was the "rural" and and white-vote getting candidate in 2008, and Obama was the "urban" and black-vote getting one

You are part of the problem if you believe that a third party can't make a change. The vast majority of Johnson's supporters will be republicans who hate Trump, not Democrats who hate Hillary. If the election goes to the house, Johnson will win as they hate Trump more than Johnson. Bernie supporters would like Johnson as he has a record of changing things for the better, especially for the youth.
I think the next few months will surprise people as Trump solidifies his lead in the GOP and Johnson is able to attract all of the independents and anti-Trump Republicans.

It's mostly because white collar voters care about different subset of things and they've been constantly screwed over by dems so any anti establishment candidate is a relief.

But the big college populations and his growing minority support + him being in the state this past week is all good for him. The debate tonight (in Florida) could help too. I think it's gonna be closer, maybe a 10% lead.

Bernie is 86% of his goal for the nomination with the 73 delegates he won. To stay on track, he was supposed to win 80.

It's not as rich as it seems! The Southside pretty much has all of the wealth in the county, although there's other smaller neighborhoods like Ortega, Avondale, etc.
