Does it matter if C2C was a covers album? Gaga really connected with those songs and gave new life to them. The jazz album debuted at #1, won a GRAMMY and sold over 700K domestically for a reason. Sadly, some faves can no longer achieve the aforementioned with POP, never mind JAZZ.
