8 years is too soon. You have to look further down the line. The party won't shift too far left until Millennials are in their 30's and 40's with the Generation X as the elderly. Baby Boomers and their parent's generation are normally the ones that are either moderate or conservative. Generation X are the ones that bridge the movement to the left with the currently Millennials. When that latter two generations become the parents and grandparents, that's when we'll see more liberals. Because this generation is producing way more liberals than they are conservatives.

1) While I'm feeling good about her chances, I'm not 100% confident at this moment.
2) You hit the nail on the head about the GOP and their stances with the Latino community. I would've thought that they learned their lesson after the 2008 Presidential Election when they got completely embarrassed across the board. They were suppose to do an autopsy of their political party to diversify their party. And to their credit some within the establishment of the GOP have done so, I mean, they do have two Cuban-Americans as leading candidates and at one point, a black candidate, though he has fallen to the back of the pack. Their biggest problems lie in their stances and dismissal of issues that effect people of color. This country is getting browner, rather they like it or not. Immigration, criminal justice reform, income inequality, and so on are key issues that lots of Latinos and Blacks care about. Instead of bridging the gap and adapting or expanding their views, they condemn or dismiss those issues. That doesn't help or bold well for the future of their party.
3) Bernie is a great guy. I won't pretend to know where he would better fall in line with in the British political system. Though, I probably should take more interest in the political practices of the prominent EU countries since most are some of our key allies.

Concerning Latinos, the point is to court new blood - no shade but Cubans are already going to vote GOP unlike the rest. Where are the Mexican-Americans who make up a big chunk of the Western US/overall Latin population? Start enticing them for starters.
As for Bernie, he does stand for good, but as much as I'd like to take notes from other places, we are just not ready for such a change. Maybe next decade.
Most importantly, your first point is true. NEVER take anything for granted, she can't coast on anything and must always be willing to debate to death if she wants to keep her chance at the presidency.

Wonderful, perfectly logical examples.

Truly the only way Bernie can get the nomination is if he acquires the African American vote which he is losing severely. Right now 85% of African Americans are supporting Hillary while only 15% Bernie. The one thing that the states that have in common that he is winning is a very large white population and small non-white population. Every news pundit and analysis have said the same thing, an individual cannot win the democratic nomination without the support of African Americans or minorities. Then to top it all off more women are voting for Hillary and in general more women vote than men. Unless he can get these demographics to support him, he is done. He may have the youth vote but he is losing the African American, women and hispanic vote.

His 3-2-1 strategy failed so badly
The childish back-and-forth with Trump backfired too
And he got like no bump from the debate
He's Jeb Bush a over again (only Jeb didn't sell out his people to pander to the right like Rubio did) .

Hillary has and will not take any vote for granted. She's fought just as hard or maybe even harder than the other candidates to not only get her message out but basically defend herself from the ridiculous claims day in and day out about her being a criminal Her message has always been that we need to lift everyone up who is at a social and economic disadvantage and that includes , blacks, Latinos as well as other minorities. Us latinos can see that.

I'm 27, the leaders of the committee who are the only people older than me are both 30, but they stan for Bernie - then again they go into LGBT topics that not even I understand Like the new wave of labels for people/gender/you name it
Ugh, they make me look like an old D.I.N.O.
I remember once everyone's phone buzzed at the same time, Bernie Co. had sent out an email

MSNBC did a breakdown of the voting demographics last night between Bernie and HIllary and Hillary won every single demographic except white men.

I meant above that the GOP needs to start tapping into the Governor Martinezes/Sandovals if they want to get more Latinos on their side
