Hillary has been against Citizens United from the beginning. Yea, she accepted wall street money, but so did Obama. I truly believe you have to play the game to change the game.

Also, the post conveniently doesn't talk about abortion or gun control. It barely mentioned immigration. Okay so she voted for a border fence and thinks we should control our border. That's extremely different from building a wall and deporting all the undocumented immigrants and their children that have US citizenship. I would also like to know which specific bills are in question to what Sanders voted for. I don't really think Sanders wants completely open borders considering his vote against Ted Kennedy's immigration bill.

Yeah that's why I kinda ignored the list and just read the paragraphs. Even if you ignore her voting history I still think she's too in the center for me.

She wants to work within the corrupt system. More of the status quo basically. Bernie is trying to get the Democratic party back to where it was by giving the system a needed overhaul.

Nowhere did I suggest voting for Trump or revolting, because I don't think either of those is effective either.

It's not a black and white Bernie-or-nothing situation. It's very much a spectrum, for every single issue. That's what I think a lot of people are missing - it's not any one candidate vs. the world, it's a range of choices.

Also, this notion that your starting point - as far as how far left your policy is - determines your endpoint via negotiation is just absurd. That, and Bernie can't refuse to work with the system - the system is all that there is. However this goes, he has to play the game and play it well, and I don't think he'd be good for downticket support.

Republicans don't hate her as much as you might they think. The reason they come for her so much is to derail her campaign. They are much more disgusted by the idea of their complete opposite Bernie Sanders winning than someone who is closer to the middle than he is.

There's a reason why he's virtually been ignored by the Republicans this whole campaign season and it's because he's not seen as a threat and come election season, he will be tossed aside like the old rag that he is.

I have a lot of respect for Warren for not choosing sides. I think she made the right choice. Either one was going to either undermine the newfound progressive following she has with young liberals or destroy the collective brand the DNC has with older liberals. Saving her voice for the aftermath is the perfect route.

I don't think guilt tripping people on the internet is really going to increase voter turnout. People are ignoring larger structural barriers to voting, e.g. voter I.D. laws, having election day on a Tuesday, not automatically being registered, not being a holiday, gerrymandering etc.

Our primary should be moved up to March imo. Maybe pair it with SC or put it on Super Saturday. I'd say put it on Super Tuesday but there's already so many states then. It would help with our primary turnout and could turn the state purple (which is probably a reason for keeping it in May).

We also shouldn't be required to show up to a polling place or caucus to vote. Voting via mail should be rolled out nationwide, and we need a secure way to vote online.
