Well ig ill be first on here i have played all the gens and am working on finishing gen 6:
but i have played the old gameboy color version and the newer gameboy advanced version and had a yellow version as well.
Plot 7/10 because in the older versions you could not catch mew even though it was a rumor i never bothered putting more than 3 days into that search.
Region 8/10 only because it was the original and it was pretty good for the first one in the series.
legendaries 9/10 mainly because i liked mew two and the legendary birds
starters 10/10 because i love charmander as a pokemon and as its art work was amazing and it was like the best fire type.
other pokemon 7/10 mainly because the only other pokemon i went for was just a nidoking and a pideotto but that was really it besides the status effect butterfree.
characters 4/10 because i just thought that aspect was horrible because of just the way that they did not develop throughout the game.
new features 5/5 because you are able to trade up from fire red to emerald which really helped in a pinch.
Overall experiance 23/25 mainly because well the character development but i loved it as my first pokemon game on the old game boy color.
Total: 73/100 but i still play it for a challenge with the nuzlocke challenge
U know Niko only came with this idea to increase her channel's popularity...
