I don't really hate him but I do find him a bit overrated. He has poor vocal technique and his concept for his first album was so tragic It's interesting at first until you find out that he based the album off a crush he had on a straight guy who was married

And all that's fine. I'm not even a fan of his music myself but I don't understand the unmitigated hate for the only (currently) successful male gay musician when this forum is dominated by gay men. It just seems regressive.
