I feel that it was a mix of growing up and dumbing herself down after TD took off. I mean, her tweets from late 09/early 2010 compared to now are just I feel like she did what she felt she had to do to be as successful as possible like most celebrities. That's understandable, but kinda sad at the same time.

I agree. People have become much more open minded over the past few years. More LGBT representation in the media, DATA being repealed, gay marriage being legalized. It's crazy how much has happened.
It's only a matter of time before the gay, male Madonna/Britney/Kylie/Gaga comes along and slays the worldm
I dunno, I'm not hopeful that we will keep seeing new openly gay males in pop music. We should definitely cherish the ones we have now, cause before you know it they're irrelevant and we're left with no one.
