I mean, this is OUR victory. Sam getting such acceptance means the labels will be putting more stock in gay artists in future. I can't wait to finally have a tolerable openly gay pop star
and stop with the "stupid comments omgz " None of you would be dragging if a POC won an oscar and dedicated it to the black community.
Sam's speech was so bleh. He debuted not wanting to come out, pandering to the straight community, not even wanting his lyrics to have a hint of him being gay and now he's an LGBT advocate. A label puppet
!
I hate how everyone was so accepting of Sam Smith being gay but when Frank Ocean came out it was a problem.
Yes, I know it's because Frank is a black male artist.
But, Sam Smith came out & it was "aw this poor fat gay white man with a soulful voice"
The little stability and composure collin had left unravelled before our eyes this evening and ultimately resulted in a ban. The LMs and OBHs were also having meltdowns and deflecting from Gaga LOSING all night.

With Frank it was "self-promotion for the album". With Sam it's "moving forward for the community".
I just have a little gut feeling TIHTY won't win. I hope it does but it just seems like too obvious a choice
I knew she wouldn't win objectively speaking Earned It was definitely better than both Gaga's and Sam's terrible songs. Also, literally no one cares about best song sooo it really doesn't matter that much, people were overhyping it.
On Saturday Work was played 3 times in the club and the reactions of the people whenever it starts are insane, haven't seen a song get such reaction for a long time, to think everyone thought it would flop
