I agree, although I loved the ceremony and what Chris did, I hope next year we see all beautiful minority films get proper recognition.

Black people aren't the mule of all minorities. They all have a voice, so they should use it. It is not our responsibility to speak up for everyone else, especially since they wouldn't and don't speak up for us. Thanks.

I think the show was kind of a mess overall. I appreciate the efforts to make up for the lack of diversity in nominations, but a lot of the efforts the show made to demonstrate diversity felt a little... insincere or deliberate I guess, especially compared to the alternative of actually having a an actual diverse group of people nominated for awards.

It was as entertaining enough of a show I guess. I really want some girl scout cookies now though.

I'm not talking about black people and I'm not asking for black people to speak up for anyone how immature you sound right now? Yeah I thought he was going to speak for all minorities but it became a "black diversity "thing which was a bit disappointing. The issue with the Oscar voting and Hollywood in general is that there isn't enough representation and opportunity for ALL people of color. In fact I think Asians might have it the worst of all if I remember correctly. Not to mention the amount of racist Asian jokes made tonight was cringe
