Not really. The best male performance was Fassbender in Steve Jobs anyway, who is also white.

I wasn't particularly impressed by him in The Revenant but it was a physically committed performance. In my opinion, Leo and Hardy should have switched roles.

I'm referring to the fact Leo 'deserves' an Oscar because of his other roles, while Actors of Colour must wait for their turn. Not dismissing Leo's work because he has played some wonderful roles but his obvious desperation is so tacky.
