The hype for Piece by Piece is over. The song is slowly dying on iTunes. The piano version won't help it much. PBP is a good song, but it's just not attractive enough to the public.
The song's lyrics are much deeper and personal than what you hear on mainstream radio, which is why people ARE connecting with the track. The piano version will give PBP a real boost, as it's superior to the two edits released last year. Clarkson needs to go on SNL or late night talk shows though to perform the song again, as I feel fairly certain this can be a big hit.

The hype is still going though. Also, it's still #1 on iTunes, already has 7,075,262 views on Youtube and climbing, I think the PBP piano version will def. help
