It's a different calendar year for Billboard. 2016 BB Year started the week End. Dec 05th, 2015 
(That's why they started with the 52/25 recurrent rule that week)

Justin's Sorry will be very high on Year-end chart. All his weeks are in new billboard chart run. Adele's three or four were in previous year-end so she won't be #1 I think

3 weeks of slayge are missing because of calendar year, but I don't know, it definetely looks like a huge contender. It has some big lead over "Sorry". We'll see, "Sorry" could overtake it it keeps doing amazing on streaming.
