I know it's about the lyrics. You can tell it was a sincere performance but the song itself is just not good.
This honestly makes a lot of sense. I was shocked then I saw Piece by Piece getting Pop Album nominations at the Grammys (and I thinking winning them, too?)
The live performance is so much better than the actual song. IDK why Piece by Piece was not a piano ballad in the first place. The dance production was not necessary.
