Hillary would have had an easier time if Sanders wasn't in the race but he's effectively hurt her for the GE in November. He's successfully labeled her as establishment and a lot of Americans don't want establishment anymore.

Bernie has done a lot of damage to Hilary. Way more than the GOP.

I think the GE will be close, but I think minorities will block vote for her if Trump doesn't do something to turn it around. Even Bernie can't pull them from her.

I was thinking while explaining this to them that this would be a cake walk for the GOP if they only let social issues go. The Tea Party pandering ain't cutting it anymore on a Presidential level; unless they can get overriding majorities in the chambers then they should focus on the Presidency where the Tea Partiers are cramping their style.

Low turnout for dems in all the states so far, record turnouts for republicans and people think Hillary is going to have a cakewalk. All those young voters for Bernie are not going to turn out in droves for Hillary, young voters typically stay home and nothing about Hillary excites them.

Trump is tapping in to the independents when a poll says 30% of the people voting in SC won't vote for anyone in the Republican party except Trump.

Keep dreaming if you think Hillary is going to win going away.

The reddest states will stay red regardless of who's on the ticket. But Trump will not win a single swing state outside of NH, book it. And he would be an absolute disaster for the GOP down ticket in purple/blue states. The RNC knows this and wants him gone.

I don't make too much of turnout honestly. Despite all of the online sniping, polls show that most Dems are fine with either Bernie or Hillary, so the incentive to come and out choose one or the other is low. On the other hand, there are a whole lot of Republicans who will only vote Trump, and a whole lot of Republicans who will vote anyone but Trump. Much greater sense of urgency for them.

Much will be made of Trump winning Latinos (though just like with the Dem entrance poll, the sample size is small...even smaller really, just 8% of 1573, so less than 150 respondents), but the media refuses to remember that the vast majority of Hispanics will not be voting R in November.

Do Clinton supporters seriously believe she's going to win an election with this problem looming over her? It's only going to get worse at this point and republicans will use it against her, especially if an aide or someone else gets indicted (assuming she manages to avoid getting indicted herself). I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Biden ends up as the nominee eventually. If Bernie's smart he'll stay in the race up until the end.

Apparently I ran out of Washington post articles so I can't read this . But I do think she can win the election even with this hanging over her head. It mostly depends on if she wins her nomination and who she faces though. If she beats Bernie and then faces Rubio, well that's the only case where I see her losing (or rather, having the possibility to lose). She's more likely to lose to Sanders than to someone like Trump really.

And I don't think anyone is getting indicted over anything but that's just me believing her words. She's been right on every single one of her scandals so far. Hope this remains the same. This can hamper her with independents though but not by too much

One reason Republicans are getting higher turnout could be because they simply have more candidates. Thus voters see that primary as more competitive.

I think y'all are underestimating the power of the Clintons. I think the Dems will get on board especially with the Supreme Court justice nominee looming over our heads. The stakes are higher than ever, and I do think these Bernie supporters would get on board eventually.

Obama would obviously endorse her, and so will Bernie. And hey she might promise him a position somewhere. And we don't know her VP yet. So I think she has a high possibility of winning the GE. These primaries don't represent much seeing as we've only been to 4 states.
