Miguel is the best artist in his genre rn and Tame Impala in theirs, both are pretty eclectic as well so I understand the collaboration, Miguel doesn't seem like the type to try to 'look cool' either.
. Probably the most underrated artist we have right now, he's working with Tame Impala it will be epic 
That's why I can continue to stan for him even when he doesn't have commercial success.
