Iconic moments are not ruined based off the future. Look at Adrien Brody using his win as an excuse to make out with married Halle Berry on the stage. It would be deemed as sexist and misogynistic only a few years later but it is one of the most defining moments at the Oscars. Make for the most, imho!
I also thought that until yesterday when my professor decided to dedicate a whole class to him and I actually got the depth of his genius and the amazing double meanings of most of his lyrics, he may not be the cup of tea of everyone but he sure was a brilliant artist
Imagine Gaga strolling along on stage at the Academy Awards, singing Till It Happens To You, and suddenly Kesha appears from the wings, taking Gaga's warm and comforting hand as they duet the remainder of the song and take a firm stand against the rape and sexual exploitation of women worldwide. It would be such an iconic moment.

She's stupid but not that stupid. She hasn't even said that Dr Luke is guilty/innocent, she's just been sympathetic to Kesha. She's not pointing any fingers.
