The venue is smaller, hence less seats, hence less gross. Pretty simple math. You think Celine's grossing $2M a night?
It took her years to gross that much, and she's a Vegas staple who had been doing shows incredibly frequently for well over a decade until her husband's death. And keep in mind, you have to make people fly over to Vegas to see you, whereas with a tour, you come to the people. That's why it's so much harder to sell out (*peep at Mariah/Shania/Lionel Richie if you think it's that easy*)
