Well with Kelsea getting apparently back to back #1s on country radio, I see who DJs want to replace Taylor as a country queen.

Sales aren't anything special though.

Maybe you are right, but Taylor is not so easy to be replaced though, especially music and emotion wise.

Since a lot of people were talking about Greatest Hits Album, let me go a little bit further. When I mentioned UNRELEASED Diane Warren, following were my main points:

1, For some reasons, some excellent unreleased were not released, it's not because of the quality, but because they did NOT fit the albums very well;

2, Every Taylor Swift album is unique with its special sound or structure;

3, Greatest Hits album is different from the studio albums;

4: Different from a studio album as a whole project, Greatest Hits album might be the only chance for some excellent masterpieces to shine;

5, Unreleased does NOT necessarily mean low quality, actually I think there are some very high level unreleased Taylor Swift songs, I think you guys, aka hardcore fans, are able to list a few...

But the last 3 females to get a 2nd T5 country radio hit are Taylor, Miranda, and Kelsea. That's quite a stretch of time. They probably want at least a 3rd lady they feel comfortable with playing at that level and it looks like Kelsea's the lucky one chosen.

I think you are right. I posted that because I really want Taylor back to COUNTRY (at least partially) for a while, without Taylor, COUNTRY became totally different.
I totally understand Taylor's decision turning POP which was proved to be so right and successful. Just ONE SINGLE ALBUM says everything, and look at this new queen of POP, but I also want to see her remaining queen of COUNTRY, yes, I know, I asked too much, so what?
But honestly, after quickly proving herself with 1989, I think 2016 is a perfect year to go back to COUNTRY for a month or so. Not just because of her 10th anniversary also because I missed country Taylor a little bit.

Edit: And Taylor Swift COUNTRY songs DID provide some of the best lyrics.

Grammy is over, nobody can take away her awards anymore, especially her second ALBUM OF THE YEAR which made me so happy.
So I can say: As a whole project, 1989 does NOT have her best lyrics, with exceptions of CLEAN and NEW ROMANTICS, aka the next single...s hopefully?

Obviously not with a song so wide with a lot of belting up top, just the general idea of that kind of love song, Diane is a legendary songwriter that has made some huge hits. Great taste btw.
