I don't have the ability to post the chart right now, but I can vouch for the fact UF has led the Recurrent Songs Chart every week since the 25/52 rule sent it to recurrency. Even Trap Queen debuted on Recurrents at #2, so UF would've probably reached 60 weeks in just the Top 40 without this new rule, and at least two more weeks in the Top 30.

No way My House is going #1 anymore. Work will peak around the same time (or even a bit later) and is way too strong on streaming. Thinking more like 5+ weeks at #1 at least for Work.


Stressed Out would have been blocked by Love Yourself anyway, but will get even more blocked now with Work.

Oh that's a little disappointing. I don't like Stressed Out or My House, but I like years with a lot of number 1s.

Given how incredibly it's doing in the UK + Australia, I think it's likely 7 Years will be the song to challenge Work in a few weeks time. The sales in the UK right now are insanely high, doesnt even feel that big here yet so has room to grow, and its definitely looking like a year end #1.

The song is very evocative of a Somebody That I Used To Know kind of WW smash. Soft melody, sparse production, left-field, indie down tempo vibes from a random European artist.

Only thing is, the call outs for pop radio the other day didnt look great so we'll see how that goes.

I would've liked "Stressed Out" to reach #1, but we're already having too many #1s this year. So I'll take a #2 peak and 2 longer running #1s over 3/4 shorter #1 runs instead.
