Looking up the other 2 women who even got another AOTY nom after winning:
Bonnie Raitt's kinda a reverse Taylor experience. None of her albums even hit the T20 until her AOTY win, which ended up getting it multiple weeks at #1. Sorta like Chris Stapleton sweeping the CMAs despite little commercial success.
Barbra has tons of big albums and is the only woman with more AOTY noms than Taylor. But none of her albums after her AOTY win was big enough to get, say, 20+ weeks in the T10.
I think if She hopes to win again, She's gonna have to have another sales behemoth AND a ROTY/SOTY frontrunner that's different from what She's shown in Her first decade with the masses. Like, if She gets a hugely successful soaring ballad (along the lines of Stay with Me/Rolling in the Deep/Thinking Out Loud) or a hugely successful indie-alt song (along the lines of Somebody That I Used to Know/Royals/Use Somebody).

Yeah, but the rock version of WANEGBT is so great, she has it in her veins, I need a rock album, it reminds me of I Love New York by Madonna during Confession... Taylor is more badass than some "rock" bands out there

Do y'all really believe that she'll release her next album in 2019?
I noticed that a lot of people consider that she takes 2 year "breaks" usually even if she's on tour.
So if that's how Hollywood Life saw it, they probably meant 2017.
