I agree that Bernie has strengthened Hillary. His candidacy was a boon to the Democratic party, in that regard.
It's strange that turnout for the first three states has been lower on the Democratic side than in 2008. Bernie's argument that he would inspire greater turnout has not come to fruition so far.
If Sanders runs independent, i immediately lose respect for him. It'll kill the liberal base, and a total disrespect to the primary system.
I highly doubt he will. The only way I see him possibly doing it is if Trump does it but even then he knows how important it is for a republican not to take office.

I agree. If anything, he's potentially hurt her for the GE later this year. A lot of democrats really don't like her now and have said they won't vote for her if she wins the nomination.

I think he should do it. I don't mind voting for a non establishment candidate. He is technically an independent anyway.

I won't fault anyone who votes for him if he does run - I entirely intend to vote for Bloomberg if he runs and Sanders wins the nomination - but when you say you won't, you don't go back on that.

Interesting, Hillary used her speech to really address the issues and what she plans to do and Bernie has used his to take some jabs at her and talk about these "record breaking" turnouts for younger votes, which is false.
