While Clinton has won the first two caucuses in the Democratic race — while losing New Hampshire, the only primary — it’s possible that Bernie Sanders will win every state caucus from here on out.

Here’s why I say that. The remaining Democratic states to hold caucuses are: Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, Washington and Wyoming. Other than Hawaii — where I’m not going to pretend we have any earthly idea what’s going to happen — those are a bunch of really white states that otherwise look favorable for Sanders and which he could win even if he slightly trails Clinton nationally.

Clinton is probably favored in the territorial caucuses in American Samoa, Guam and the Virgin Islands, however, as territorial caucuses tend to heavily favor “establishment” candidates.

She really needs to channel that emotion, that fierceness that ethos she had in Unity, at the Dem convention and during the epic "glass ceiling" speech.

Those speeches are some of the best she's ever done and she came across as a Fighter and really genuine. She needs a better speech writer too I guess.

Holy **** my friend just said he don't support Clinton because she shifts too much and she's evil but in a hypothetical scenario would vote for Mitt Romney... who was literally painted as a flip-flopper for most of the the 2012 election. Of course he came to his senses and realize that the SC is at stake and said he would vote for Clinton.

I don't really understand why people hate Clinton this much. He's only voting for Bernie because he dislike Clinton too, nothing else

It comes down to electability and perceived readiness. Minorities tend to be more cautious and don't want to take chances, and Clinton is the "safe" choice in that regard. Obama (who was losing minorities BADLY in late 2007) was able to overcome this by winning IA outright. That showed minorities (blacks in particular) that Obama was viable to white voters, and thus a legitimate contender. It also helped that Clinton's campaign kinda imploded in the lead up to SC.

Not to mention, as far as actual ideology goes, minorities tend to be less liberal in general. The talk of who's a "real progressive" means little, because of lot of minority Dems are actually conservatives at heart, but can't get onboard with Republican racism.

So in conclusion...I don't really know what Sanders can do. I just think the nature of his populist movement is something that intrinsically doesn't appeal to minorities the same way it appeals to white liberals. If I were him I'd focus less on criminal justice and welfare reform (honestly, the average black voter doesn't have either as their most pressing issue) and lay out SPECIFIC plans about improving the economy.

Also, black folk probably don't care too much for Bernie's white socialism. He goes on and on talking about how badly he wants to be like Denmark and Sweden.

That was the BEST Hillary has sounded this entire campaign. Bernie has really made her a better candidate. She seems to be at her best when she's against the ropes.

Anyone who would support a republican over Clinton.

I prefer Bernie because I prefer his message and he seems more genuine, but still.

Only way I'd not vote for Hillary in Nov. is if Trump runs an independent campaign, because then hopefully Bernie does too. Though Trump running an independent campaign would help dems easily destroy republicans so I'm still not sure if I'd want Bernie to do that or not.

If Sanders runs independent, i immediately lose respect for him. It'll kill the liberal base, and a total disrespect to the primary system.

I agree that Bernie has strengthened Hillary. His candidacy was a boon to the Democratic party, in that regard.
