hmmm my advice, and I literally tell this to everyone I know is floss every day, twice a day if you have the time.
it's SO important, you could literally have cavities that you don't know that exist because they're hidden in between your teeth, so make sure you start doing it from now on.
once you start, you'll notice the difference right away, and you get used it like, really quick.
you'd be surprised at the amount of food that gets stuck between your teeth (and specially if you love sweets/soda, etc.).
