Look at those scores, virtually nobody hated this, but few loved it either. It's not hard to see why, though it is a fun little romp at the end of the album, it isn't the most substantial track. It is a funky little number though, so it's more of what was needed on the album. To me this just sounds very early 2000s, but it probably could've fit in around Trust a Try on the tracklist. Jan needs to learn how to do bonuses better I think.
eli's_rhythm and Vilppu both consider it a standout on the album it didn't even make it on to, the latter thinking it has "more interesting production and simply being better than anything on standard" while the the former asks "why are there 4 of the same sex songs and this didn’t make the US release?" Don't know. Maybe Janet was suffering insomnia at the album sessions? Would make sense after having to perform those Velvet Rope songs for show after show.
Auburn calls it "a lesser version of Trust a Try" and Aerosol feels that its sheen has faded a little, "There is a fanmade remix out there with the tempo slightly sped up and it really makes crazy difference. It makes me appreciate the real version a little less."

Aw, now this is a cute little funky number that I love. I should've given her a boost. This track feels like filler at first, but it really grows on you. I love the little distorted 'ooooh's in the back too. It has a bouncy energy and a nice flow that really gets you bopping along. It's nothing stunningly amazing, but it is very charming and deserved a little better.
Aerosol once again serves truth, "This should suck but it doesn't. Something about it is really sweet and inexplicably a step above the albums it sounds like it should be coming from." Amen!

I love 2 B Loved but I recognize it's a weak link. Something about the chorus is so fun though. Very AFY era.
Edit - one of the best middle 8s / lead ins to the final chorus on the album too!

I'm not sure if my like for this is because it is an actual decent song, or if I just will take anything I can in the sea of mediocrity that is 140YO. For optimism's sake I will go with the former. The instrumental is really cute, it definitely brings to mind images of the rising sun, dew on plants and early morning haze. Janet is ok too I guess.
Ivory. loves "the bridge on this song" but feels that "everything else is pretty average though." Perhaps, but Auburn is a bit brighter in his review, "A great start to the redeemable second half of this album after the all-zero first half." n, ok then!
