Because Sony, which has already ****ed her over and potentially blamed the victim, still has final say over what gets released. If you work for a company and your boss sexually and emotionally abuses you, you want a clean cut from that place, because even if you never see him again you still are surrounded by people that basically called you a liar.

It's not about promo, it's about the songs not getting released in any form, period. And if she puts them online without the label's permission they'll sue her which would be disastrous. It's a lose lose situation for Kesha.
