I'm sure they have. But ULTIMATELY, you can't force someone to do something they don't want to.
Rihanna is lazy. And she's only gotten lazier as she's been granted more freedom (i.e. her own distributing platform through Westbury Road or a more hands-free record label like Roc Nation).
If she was doing what other people told her like she'd been doing for the last 8 years, she'd be fine. I'm actually annoyed, we're losing a top black musician like this. I'd rather Beyonce win by doing BETTER, than Rihanna fail. I still need her to be above Gaga, Taylor (not happening now lol), and Katy.
But ohwell. Guess it's back to 1 black woman competing at the highest levels
