What I don't like about Bernie is how he's alienating important Liberal voters from the Democratic base. His attack on the establishment will divide the party, and significantly hurt down-ticket seats.
The Democratic Party has really diminished over the last 8 years. Some blame it on gerrymandering, but that only explains the state senate and House. Senate and Gubernatorial elections should not be drastically affected by them.
The loss of Governors is killing Obamacare too.
The progressive purity politics he's pushing is the equivalent of tea party politics. It's annoying and has potential to completely undermine the party.
I go hard at Bernie, but mostly because I am CONVINCED he would be slaughtered in the general. His nomination would be disastrous at the top and at the down ticket level imo. It scares me. I don't see him winning enough swing states. I don't want a GOP President
