The XMen movies are not done by Marvel/Disney, FOX handles them.

You are right. Deadpool is completely different than the MCU movies because it's very different and original. It's better than almost every Marvel movie too.

In an interview Ryan Reynolds said that Deadpool is part of the "X-men Universe".
