Didn't realize you were referring to the specific big awards, because I was just talking about how awarded women are now vs then (fads like Lauryn being the exception). I agree that Madonna was unfairly snubbed for her many deserving albums and songs. TBH I don't think she was ever as big of a musical star in the US after LAP and Erotica, she was bigger worldwide, and that could be part of it.
