That means nothing, it's not just about spotify

Gaga has 5 songs that have sold more than Halo WW and Halo is Beyonce's best selling song (excluding Telephone of course).

And JUst Dance is at least twice as global as Halo, so for that reason alone, there is no way Halo is more remembered when in the first place it was heard or bought by less people

But y'all can stay delusional. Halo is a non factor, it was a cute hit and Bey tried to make it a classic, but it's not.

If you look at the YouTube stats of artists which ONLY includes views from September 2014 & onward...

These are the following artists' most viewed pre-2010 records. They calculate the views from every video on YouTube with the record. Once again, these are the views the records only received in the past 18 months.

Beyonce - Halo - 304 Million
Beyonce - Single Ladies - 296 Million
Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me - 263 Million
Katy Perry - Hot N Cold - 237 Million
Rihanna - Umbrella - 224 Million
Britney Spears - Toxic - 189 Million
Lady Gaga - Bad Romance - 139 Million

If you take in Beyonce's lead on Spotify, and the FaceBook video where she was singing in the hospital (I remember it having over 100 million views before it was deleted)... then I will say yes.

It was heard by enough people before to make it have higher rates of sales, YouTube views and Spotify streams than any Gaga song today. These are legitimate factors that can determine how "remembered" a song is, not how big it was back in the day. Just because a song was big once upon a time doesn't mean it can't be forgotten.

Nice, yeah I remember when those two vids got taken down almost at the same time. The Facebook one was posted a bit after Bad Blood (which broke the vevo record) and it actually surpassed BB views by like 10m before it got taken down.
