It's a fun pop music forum.

Because every time we start to forget about it, there's some to remind us that we're black and therefore not equal.
Two days before Christmas, my brother came to visit me and, on our way to the mall, we were waiting at a bus stop. I opened my Vine app and I showed him a little snippet of a dance video, rap music playing in the background.
A white man waiting there starts to go off on me and brother talking about black people and "our" music. And trying to ignore him, he calls me and my brother n-ggers. I say "excuse me", and I take ONE step toward him and he pulls out his phone, "I'm going to call the police right now!"
And that point there's nothing I can do. I laugh it off. And my brother and I walk away. It was all we could think about at Christmas.
If you don't see why someone like Beyoncé addressing race is important to black people. Please don't make ignorant comments on it. It's a fun "pop forum" but it's real life too.
