I mean, despite its parent album outselling every pop star effort in the last decade, the singles are still managing to stay top 20 on iTunes... Tell me, do you REALISTICALLY expect a song that already over 8M people have in a CD to sell TONS a top every chart? WWWY is doing amazing considering all the factors... I mean, OOTW is underperforming and 1989 has sold 2,3M less than "25", so there's your answer
WWWY is following Hello which is one of the biggest hits ever. that momentum alone shouldve guarenteed a top 10 slot. It's reception has always been poor when you compare the massive amount of airplay to its horrible sales (which include a gift card rush from xmas) and streaming.

I mean mostly fans buy albums and mostly the GP buys singles.
So I'll take album sales over single sales any day and it just happens to everyone that 1 single doesn't connect with the GP.
The GP clearly absolutely hates OOTW and the GP clearly isn't here for WWWY.
She will release a 3rd single and I'm sure it will do better. This under performance won't effect her career at all.
