This era is about the fans, lbr. If she was realllllllyyy determined on getting #1's, she would have dropped the song on a Friday (for full tracking week), released the video, and put it on spotify ALL on the same day. She wouldn't want to be associated with Tidal at all.

She would have pre-recorded KIB vocals and lip sang. She wouldn't have give away 1 million copies of ANTI on Tidal for FREE. She would of made sure the album wasn't under-shipped in the U.S. She would have performed Work on Ellen and other late night shows, probably done Carpool with James Corden etc etc etc...

Rihanna is not the typical pop girl - ala Taylor Swift. She won't lip sync - Britney Spears. She cares about the fans, and the fact y'all are responding negatively to it probably makes her regret it saying things like 'DUMB BITCH, SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE CANCELLED THE GRAMMYS, SHE'S NOT EVEN SICK', it makes her regret it.
