Eh. You could also argue that others aren't as far left/right as they should be. It's their choice and their party status shouldn't change that.
Basically what I got from that article is that he likes his ideas but he doesn't think they're realistic in the current political landscape. He's looking at the present Congress and basing what's possible off that. Kind of a sad way to look at the future of America imo especially when this Congress was one of the most ineffective in history.

Yeah and I get that. I mean it is sad that Congress throws temper tantrums and is stagnant when it doesn't go their way. But that's what politics is now unfortunately. And Im inclined to believe that the reason why that people hated congress so much is because the things Obama proposed were rational. They made sense to majority of people. And it seemed congress was just saying "no no no" to spite him which lead to nothing being done which would probably happen to Hillary and Bernie too
I know Bernie supports are tired of hearing this but I honestly feel that if Washington didn't support Obama on anything he tired to do, why would they support Bernie when his ideas are far more extreme than Obama's? Like the piece said, Bernie's ideas sound great in theory and you can honestly tell that he means well but what are the chances he's successful in office? People love his ideas but what are the chances he actually implements them? At this point, things need to actually get done. People are tired of empty promises.
AND lost of democrats don't vote outside of the GE so congress and senate could very well continue to be Republican majority. And that will lead to another 4 years of nothing being done.
Also, I'm not too sold on Hillary either. Tbh this entire election is just messy. There's no clear cut person for either side that's trust worthy to me.
