I'm still shocked. Can't believe this. I wonder what's next now, will this start a backlash, or is this the first step before moving on to greater things?
Or maybe it's just the next step of history repeating itself:
Taylor Swift / Red = The start of it all / Jumping to another genre and starting again
Fearless / 1989 = Mainstream peaks: Massive increase in popularity from previous eras
Speak Now / TS6 = Doing it on her own and slowing down before moving on to new things
Not only a quieter era to contrast with the craziness and arguable fatigue of 1989, but also an album where she can truly shine on her own (or with less collaborators) (and no Max Martin). She already served amazing songs back then and she's only been getting better and better since, so the quality would be outstanding

She'll try to win AOTY again maybe, but I don't think 2x in a row and her 3rd AOTY is possible right now. Will be excited to see what She comes out with though.
